In our 25/26 season, we are exploring the theme of utopia. This is less about an ideal state and more about a process that occurs in moments of encounter, shared experience and communicative action.

Which books accompany this exploration? And why are they important? What else might be discovered in them? In the reading foyer, we want to discuss these texts with you over a cup of coffee or tea and explore the literary side of the Theater an der Ruhr together. No prior knowledge is necessary – the reading foyer is open to anyone who is curious about different perspectives and ideas and would like to discuss them with us. Members of the dramaturgy and acting departments cordially invite you to join us.
